Claude Julian's Mistake

I don't really want to write this blog for the embarrassment I feel for the Bruins. Two years in a row they lost in game 7's when they were greatly favored to win both series. I don't have the statistic but I am pretty sure the Bruins had the most "too many men" penalties this season. It is an embarrassing penalty at any level, much more so in the NHL. To get this penalty in the third period of game 7 is ridiculous. Epic choke by the Bruins. They had about 4 quality scoring chances during the game that they did not put away. They did not deserve to win. If the Bruins had a half decent front office I would be shocked if Claude Julian was the coach next year. However, the Bruins hold onto personnel until they are well past prime. (Glen Murray two years ago, guy could barely skate). I think it is time for a change behind the bench, if there is a good candidate out there. Man this sucks. I am less disappointed that the season is over than I am embarrassed at the way it happened. Humiliating. Whatever, whoever wins the Eastern Conference will get smoked by the Western Conference winner. Not even close in comparison.
