Jack Johnson has always been one of my favorite artists... but he has taken a bit of a back seat to other "chill" artists because he hasnt put out a whole lot of new stuff since the "Sleep Through the Static" album in 2008. However, unlike most other "chill" artist Jack Johnson is actually a really cool dude and a good person. I have a good friend at Babson who is very close to Jack Johnson and often plays with him in jam sessions, and I have heard first hand that Jack is one of the nicest people you will meet... so without any further ado, here are two song from Jack Johnson. The first is Jack and Matt Costa from the movie "A Brokedown Melody", and this is my favorite music video of all time (there is fun, summer, kids, adults who act like kids, and surfing).
The second video is Jack Johnson in Studio playing the song "You and Your Heart" off of his new album "To the Sea", which is set to be released on June 1st... so buy the album because its going to be awseome!
